For the Production architecture, we have created mirrored pair disks with the third mirror copied to its appropriate Business Continuance Volume (BCV) disk. The process which copies the data to the BCV is the Time finder application powered to run via TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler).   More>>

IBM SSA/Regatta

The current SSA system uses a normal 8-way loop architecture ie. 8 drives are daisy-chained into a loop configuration. A drop in one of the disks will not disturb the loop and is hot swappable (as long as the data is safely mirrored or not usable on that disk).    More>>
